I love my Playstation 3 ever since I bought the console back in 2006. The library of games I have for the platform is over 60 titles strong, and includes amazing titles as Uncharted, Heavy Rain, God of War 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Borderlands 2, Red Dead Redemption and LittleBigPlanet. I’ve literally put thousands of hours into playing these amazing experiences.
The Don’t Starve Save Editor is a tool that you can use to influence the way you play Don’t Starve. Features as changing the current character, the stats of the characters, or the current day are all features that are or will be available. This Save Editor for Don’t Starve is the first in its kind and I’m proud to present the community of this wonderful game with yet another way to enjoy the Don’t Starve experience.
Who wouldn’t love to dress up like Al Capone and start a virtual life as a gangster in the golden era for organized crime? This is exactly what I was asking myself when I first saw some footage of Haemimont Games’ Omerta: City of Gangsters. It instantly brought me back to my childhood, back to the time when I spent my time playing the original Gangsters and its sequel. Even though those two titles weren’t critically praised, they were great in my eyes. Days went by while I was shooting other criminals, taking down hostile businesses and setting up my own to eventually take over the whole city. It’s too bad that the genre seems to be pretty dry, as there haven’t been much gangster simulation titles after Gangsters 2, so I bet you can see why I got pretty excited once I saw the first footage of Omerta: City of Gangsters.
I’ve bought Don’t Starve a half a week ago and I’m enjoying the game a lot. There are a lot of things I like about the game, including the way you gain experience by surviving. However, I was curious how much experience I would get after an X amount of days, so I made a little piece of code that calculates how much experience you will get after an X amount of days. Just input the number of days and press ‘Calculate’, and the tool should show you how much experience points you will get if you die after surviving that amount of days.
I’ve been running around different islands, killing rabbits, collecting all kinds of useful resources, and fighting off annoying spiders that want to eat me. A few minutes ago I finished planting some new Berry Bushes and I made some new friends. Hopefully survival will be possible in the coming days, as it’s getting harder with those crazy Hounds running around the land. My adventure in Don’t Starve is far from over, that’s for sure.
