Torasko.com has it’s own Minecraft Server on which you can play, but what many of the current players don’t know is that we also used to run a Minecraft server when Minecraft beta v1.8 was still being used. We had a lot of fun on this server back when it was still operational, but since we closed it down everybody seemed to forget about it. Well, shortly after the server closed down I got request to publish the save file used on this server so everybody could visit the cities we build once more, and today I got a request for this again.

Yet another video of our Minecraft server has been released by one of the players. This time it’s not just a promotional video but a full trailer that will show you what you can expect from Torasko’s Minecraft Server. The trailer includes the current two cities, Brickville and Starview City, and some of the players that weren’t too shy show themselves for the camera. Enjoy!

One of the players from our Minecraft Server, Orician, has made a promotional video for the server. It contains both Brickville, the city that players will spawn in, and the neighboring city. The video gives potential new players a quick look of what to expect and if you’re interested in adding yourself to the club, don’t hesitate to join!

Torasko’s Minecraft Server

by Torasko

My very own Minecraft server just launched (mc.torasko.com) and is now available to visit if you have a premium Minecraft account. The new world contains a pre-build town (Brickville) and currently uses LWC, WorldEdit and WorldGuard as plugins. Mobs are enabled and are still as dangerous as ever. Creepers can explode and kill players in the process, although no physical damage will be done to the surrounding environment. The same goes for TNT, which can explode and kill players without doing any damage to the blocks within the blast radius.

Feel free to come to the server and build anywhere you like. If you would like to build in or near any city, contact an operator for information before building anything. It is possible to defend yourself against potential griefers by asking a operator of choice to protect your house. From that moment nobody but you can add or remove blocks in that area but you and the operators of the server. You can also lock your doors, trapdoors, chests, furnaces etc. with the LWC plugin (/cprivate).

If you have any questions about the server, feel free to contact me within the Minecraft server or with the Contact page on this website. If you would like to see the map of the Minecraft world, then click here to check it out.
